Description

Germix products enable dry disinfection of tools to be carried out efficiently using ultraviolet light. The UV-C sterilisers of this brand allow the effective inactivation of living forms of microorganisms, increasing salon safety.

Thorough disinfection of tools

The Germix steriliser is a safe way to safely and effectively disinfect cosmetic instruments without the use of chemical solutions or high temperatures. The operation of the device is based on the germicidal effect of UV radiation – ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm, falling directly on the surface, effectively destroys the living forms of microorganisms. The device with a simple design automatically turns off the UV lamp when the drawer is opened – guaranteeing the safety of both practitioners and clients.

For which tools is the UV-C steriliser suitable?

The device can be used in every hairdressing or beauty salon. It allows efficient dry disinfection, during which the equipment is not exposed to mechanical damage or dulling. It will perfectly clean the surfaces of utensils such as scissors, combs, brushes, nippers, tweezers or razor blades. In order to properly prepare instruments for sterilisation, they should be washed and dried, and those of more complex construction should be disassembled. Disinfection is effective when the rays fall directly on the element. The complete process takes between 30 and 45 minutes.

What is UV disinfection?

This is a disinfection method that uses the far ultraviolet (wavelengths of 100-280 nm, especially 254 nm, that is UV-C) – to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying the nucleic acid and breaking the DNA chain. It should be remembered that this is an auxiliary method and is not a substitute for sterilisation using an autoclave – it mainly works on living microorganisms and does not affect spores.
