Description
Aldehyde-free cleaner and disinfectant
Aldehyde-free cleaner and disinfectant for medical instruments. Fenol, aldehyde and phosphate free product for the cleaning and disinfecting of instruments. Destroys bacteria (incl. Mycobacterium tuberculosis), viruses (incl. HBV, HIV) and fungi. It removes blood, proteins, secretions and fats from instruments.
pH 10–11.
The product meets the requirements of EN 1040, EN 1275, EN 1276 and EN 13727.
CE labelling in accordance with the Directive for Medical Devices (MDD).
Usage:
Immediately after being used, the instruments are disassembled, if needed, and placed into the STERISEPT solution in a lidded container. Make sure that all surfaces are covered with the solution. After the time of effect, wash and rinse (if needed) with sterile or running water.
The time of effect of the solution depends on its concentration:
3% 15 min
2 % 30 min
1% 60 min
Suitable for use in ultrasound baths and in endoscope washing machines. If using in washing machines
it is advisable to add defoamer. Not suitable for using with aldehydes.
