A HABYS table dedicated to Feldenkrais and Ilan Lev therapies. Created in collaboration with therapists and trainers. Thanks to the use of three pairs of legs, the table is distinguished by its very high stability. The two-layer top with a surface of 80 x 192 cm provides an optimal surface for working with the Feldenkrais and Ilan Lev methods. The lower layer of the top, with a harder foam, properly resists the patient's movement, while the upper layer provides adequate comfort.
The Feldenkrais Method is based on the ability to learn. Movement, which is most easily subject to conscious control, is used as a means of development. It is therefore a method of motor re-education, self-awareness, and development of one's potential through movement.
The Ilan Lev Method focuses on the patient's skeleton. During the treatment, the fully clothed patient lies or sits on the table, and the therapist moves them gently, changing the dynamics of movement and directions. This type of work requires exceptional listening skills on the part of the therapist, who seeks the patient's natural rhythm. A natural rhythm is one that does not cause conflicts for the patient during the treatment and that provides them with new information about the body and its functioning. It creates better operating conditions for the decision-making system, and its efficiency reaches a level previously unknown to it.
